Easyboot Trail Sizing Always take hoof measurements as soon as possible after a fresh trim. Simply follow the steps below to select the correct size. Feel free to contact our friendly staff for assistance. Sizing is imperative to a good fit. Easyboot Trail hoof boots are available in 11 sizes (0-10) with each size increasing by 3/16 inch (5 mm) in width and length. Easyboot Trail sizing allows for natural hoof growth between trimming. If you intend to use Easyboot Trail boots over metal shoes* take your hoof measurements after the horse is newly shod. Correct size selection and proper fitting are very important and will ensure maximum performance from Easyboot Trail hoof boots. *Using our hoof boots over metal shoes voids the 90-day repair/replacement warranty. How to get the correct size boot for your horse: - Trim Hoof - Before measuring, ensure your horse’s hooves have been correctly trimmed with all flare and excessive length removed. We also recommend that the edge of the hoof wall, where it meets the ground, be beveled (rolled) with a rasp. This removes the sharp edge of the hoof wall and prevents chipping and white line separation.
- Select Size - Accurately measure the length and width of your horse’s hoof at the widest point. From the charts below, select the size that matches the measurement.
