Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula also helps to support proper energy levels, digestion and excellent hair and skin conditions. With added organic selenium, yeast culture, enzymes probiotics and chelated minerals, Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula provides a highly digestible, energy dense diet for good health in growing, low level activity or performance lifestyles of horses.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
YEARLINGS: Feed Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula to yearlings at a rate that will maintain desired body condition and energy level. As a starting guideline, feed between 5-8 lbs. of Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula per day along with good quality hay and/or pasture, salt and water.
ADULT HORSES: Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula to adults at a rate that will maintain desired body condition and energy level. As a starting guideline, feed between 5-8 lbs. of Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula per day along with free access to good quality hay and/or pasture, salt and water.
SENIOR HORSES: Feed Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula to seniors at a rate that will maintain desired body condition and energy level. As a starting guideline, feed between 6-10 lbs. of Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula per day along with good quality hay and/or pasture, salt and water.
GENERAL FEEDING GUIDELINES:
Change to Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula from other equine products gradually over a 5-7 day period to ensure a successful transition. Do not overfeed or offer Allegra® Cadence Equine Formula on a free choice basis. Divide the ration into 2 or more feedings per day. Do not feed more than 0.5% of the horse’s body weight in grain at any one time. Always try to maintain a regular feeding schedule. It is important to provide fresh clean water, plain salt and adequate forage at all times. Do not allow hot exercised horses free access to water until they have cooled-out.
